I think so too. Tons of experience. Also, not sure if any money is saved by cutting him at this point?

Andy Lee could end up being the best punter this franchise has ever had. It would be silly to cut him. No disrespect to Palardy, I like him a lot. But Lee is a ringer.

After seeing play this preseason, I would not be totally against letting Anderson walk and running with Joe Webb as the backup QB.  Guy had been making lays all over the rield and Anderson has looked below average.

Also...with the flexibility of CMC, I would rather see us only carry 5 WR and add some depth elsewhere (like the secondary)....keeping Byrd and letting Berlin go.

Passing options of Olsen, KB, Funch, Shepard, Samuel, Byrd, and CMC are good to roll with.

We wont cut Lee. The reason he didn't put yesterday was that we are showcasing Palardy to other teams. Michael Palardy is a good, young, cheap punter that has trade value.

I hope so! He is not a guy that could hang around on a practice squad without another team signing him. Do teams even have punters on practice squads though? You hate to let a guy like that go but, Lee is the clear choice to me.

Makes no sense to cut Lee this year, only start to save money by doing it next season. Not to mention, cutting him, after trading a 4th for him, and not saving money? What sense does that even make?  If any specialist is gone, it HAS to be Gano.

No real complaints with most of the roster though.

Probably more Rivera-like as Lee, Gano, Young & Jacobs make it. Southward over McCray. A few others.

This projection makes a lot more sense. Although I believe we will put Can Elder on IR and keep Cole Luke over Zack Sanchez.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
