The usual veterans probably wont get any time during game 4 of this pre season (Cam, Olsen, KB, Kalil, Stew, Luke , Davis). Not sure about every one else though.

Peppers, CJ for sure. Coleman probably since it's a home game, Maybe even Bradberry.

Edit: However if Cam plays anytime so will the rest of our offensive starters. Except maybe Jstew... cause he's well... JStew.

He is a veteran, and he looked good in the 3rd pre-season game. No need to risk anything for a worthless pre-season game.

In the wake of the OBJ and Brandon Marshall getting injured in the same pre season game , and of Julian Edelman tearing an ACL not even from contact, I doubt the team is wanting to risk any of their star players in game 4 . We might not even see mccaffrey play even though hes not a vet hes a  high ass draft pick.

Don't see any reason for cam to play. Any of the starters for any team, but we're talking cam in this thread.

Yeah, he needs the reps to build rapport with the rooks and get his footwork down for the short throws. But, the 4 or 5 passes he might throw won't make enough of a difference to balance out the injury risk. He's missed most of the OTAs and TC with his surgery, can't make that up in less than a quarter of a glorified practice. Only reason that the NFL calls them games and not practices or scrimmages is so they can charge full price for them.

Cam needs practice reading defenses and calling the right audibles based on the new playbook and it's variations. The kind of thing you can only practice live against other defenses not your own. It isn't about throws short or long. And any rep is huge especially against Pittsburgh's pressure 3-4.

And at least at BOA stadium, preseason tickets are less than half as much as regular season tickets.

The injury risk far outweighs any possible gain. That's why starters don't play in the 4th game. He would only play a series or two and it's not worth the risk of him taking a hit and any real game or games to throw half a dozen passes. I'll be really surprised if he plays.

Pretty sure that season ticket holders pay for 10 full games I know falcons STHs do, pretty sure it's league rules.
