Buffalo: What concerns me

They know us better than we know them, simple as that.

Their Head Coach and half of their front office including the GM were Panthers last year,  they have also signed Joe Webb, who might I add has been a long term QB in this offense and has intimate knowledge of our playbook.

Hands down and top to bottom I feel like we are the better team and we are playing at home, so these are things that are in our favor.  but there is something to be said about knowing your enemy.  So am I being overly concerned about this?

Football is about matchups which come down to players and execution. Buffalo can know us better than we know ourselves and it won't matter. Know what is coming and stopping it are two different things. I figure at home we are almost always better than on the road. I know I will be there giving the Panthers a home field advantage. Listen for the keep pounding cheer. I will be one of the loudest.

We have the better team by far and I find it funny that most of the Bills fans on their fan sites think they will win this game. Typical poo posts like "shutdown their run game, contain Olsen and make Cam beat us through the air because he's a shell of his former self."

Exactly.

Remember Washington with Riggins and Gibbs or the Steelers back in the day? Everyone knew what they were running, but no one could stop it.

They could have announced their plays in advance and it would have made little difference.

The Panthers offense will have to turn over the ball several times and an undisicipled defense for the Bills to have a chance to win on the road. I'm fairly confident that the Jets will be the worst team in the league and finish dead last in most offensive categories, yet they were still in the game mid 4th quarter.

If the Panthers kept the game close against the 49ers last week then I would be concerned about this game

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
