When will Curtis Samuel begin to show out?

There’s been a lot of missed opportunities when it comes to Samuel.

I can point to plenty of times he got wide open on a deep route or long play. 

In fact, just this past Sunday he beat his man by a mile and would’ve probably had a Ginn-esque TD if Cam looked his way.

Another time, he beat his man again but he was held and probably would’ve been an easy 20+ yard penalty.

Maybe when we start throwing some deep shots to him intstead sidline passes, utilizing his speed that we liked when we drafted him.

Shula seems to think Funchess is a speedster and likes to use him on the deep routes instead

Im not sure about him as a WR. At least in the traditional sense.. he is a pretty small guy. Great with the ball in his hands in open field though. Plus take it with a grain of salt he's a very young kid.

 

I like him and I wish we had a OC who can use him. I know Cam loves him and CMC but is probably like damn dude lets make some plays Shula
