Potential flex game

So before you come in here spouting off "oNe GamE aT A TiME" bs, I am a fan and me looking ahead has nothing to do whatsoever with the outcome of games.

Now that that's out of the way, if you have tickets already or are a PSL owner, id be eyeing the 11/5 game at home vs Atlanta as a potential flex candidate. Currently the Sunday night game that day is slated as Oakland and Miami...enough said there. The only other notable matchup that day is Denver vs Philly. I expect it to at least be moved to the 4pm time slot 

 

I don't understand why some of you can't appreciate the majesty that is primetime at the Bank but I for one would be enthralled with a primetime game at home vs the dirty birds for the division lead. If that doesn't get you excited then you like the wrong sport. 

 

Also worth mentioning but still too far off to really gauge is 12/17 vs the Packers. The current game is Cowboys vs Raiders so this one is more iffy unless both teams continue their downward trend.

yeah i could definitely see the packers game being flexed. that could easily be a battle for the number one seed

This is the one I am hoping for. Wife is a Packer's fan. We're planning on doing a big tailgate regardless of the time. Would love to see this one flexed into Sunday Night.

Do they flex games as early as November 5th? I didn't think they did. Was possibly thinking of flying out for the game that day but if it got moved to night there'd be no chance of that. Wouldn't the game week 17 be more likely?

I’m hoping for this as well.

I typically pre-purchase 3-4 games per year and chose that one hoping for a potential flex. So far so good.

Games can be flexed starting Week 5.

I was more inclined to say the 11/5 matchup with Atlanta, more so due to the absolute snooze fest matchup between the Raiders and Phins...you could be potentially looking at EJ Manuel vs Smokin Jay cutty or a matchup for the division lead between the 2 former MVPs

Week 9 has Chiefs/Cowboys in the 4pm slot on CBS. Not sure how the rules work out but Fox could certainly move Falcons/Panthers to 4pm for their "Game of the Week". I could see the game against the Packers being flexed to SNF Week 15 but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Lot of football left to be played.

In Week 9, Chiefs-Cowboys is the national game and that game will under no circumstances be moved. CBS will protect it. It is only one of two times every year the CBS gets the Cowboys and it is against the best team in the NFL right now. That leaves either Panthers-Falcons or Eagles-Broncos to be flexed to SNF. The Eagles and Broncos both have very large fan bases. The Panthers and Falcons have small fan bases. 90% chance Eagles-Broncos gets moved to NBC and 10% chance Panthers-Falcons gets moved to NBC

Week 15 is an outside possibility but both the Cowboys and Raiders would have to be out of the playoffs to move the Cowboys out of primetime. They are the moneymaker for the networks. The NFL would have to force NBC to give up that game.

I hope it isn't Atlanta that gets flexed. Night games in Charlotte do not draw as much demand as afternoon games. I'm selling Atlanta. If Green Bay gets flexed, no big deal because I'm going to that one. 

Before I get flamed, I no longer live in Charlotte so I have to sell several games per year.
