35 carries for 37 yards

That is what the Panthers have totaled in the last 2 weeks minus Cam’s rushing stats.

Let that sink in.

And there’s some here that are blaming Cam!? HA. You aren’t going to find many QB’s that are going to be successful when their run game is producing those type numbers.

Well when the other team knows your going to run the ball the first play of the drive before you even get the play down to the field.

Your going to start with the losses and 2nd and 12 every time

If you can't run the ball when the other team knows it's a run, you don't have anyone to blame but yourself. It's not like teams are rarely in that position, it's fundamental football.

Honestly Stewart has been terrible this year, I hate to say it but it’s also looking like I was right about McCaffery’s impact too.

god I hate being right all the time but something are obvious if you don’t look at things from a biased point of view

Stewart and McCaffrey can't block for the o-line themselves.

The play calls haven’t helped much, but the blocking hasn’t been that bad either. Stewart has definitely taken a step back this year. Something I called before the season and was why I called for a replacement to be drafted.

I was also against McCaffery being drafted. Too much hype for a player with skills that don’t translate that well to the Pro-game. When I broke it down this past offseason I pointed out that the speed of defensive players at the NFL level is a big problem for versital players who don’t do anything great but do a lot of things well.

you need specialty players in the NFL not gimmicky ones. (This is a extreme abbreviation of what I said pre draft)

And Stewart has had the majority of the carries. Think it might be time for more CMC?

Eagles had 3-4 players in our backfield on every running play. How exactly is a RB supposed to be successful like that? If you think that our lack of running game is b/c of Stewart and/or McCaffrey, I'm not sure you are paying attention.

Selling out on the run has its advantages. It's called Play action and boot leg.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
