Anquan Boldin Possible NFL return

I'll have to get the link from my phone but I read an article that stated that Anquan Boldin has expressed interest in returning to the league. It also goes on to say that the Bills have granted permission for his agent to try and shop him. So, this brings the usual question, would you possibly trade with the Bills to possibly pick up Boldin at this point?

Personally, I'd certainly see what they might be interested in taking. I'd assume that they likely couldn't want too much considering he isn't really doing anything for them and we could possibly get him with a low round conditional pick. It would be one of those cases of getting something from him while they still can. The question is though is he ready and still in good football condition since he hasn't played any this season.

You know...my first thought was the typical "we have enough slow receivers" response, but then I remembered that our slow receivers can't run proper routes or block effectively.  Boldin is one of the best "slow" receivers of all time because guess what....he can run all the routes and block effectively.   At this point, what do we have to lose?

    • And even worse you have injuries force you to play anther one dimensional train wreck combine that with Orlov being no were close to as advertised and boom you have 3 defensemen being dressed who couldn't defend my 96 year old grandmother. That said next year having Slavin,Miller,Nikishin,Chatfield gives you the best shutdown d man in the league two large athletic HIGH offensive potential D who can take away time and space....   The more I think about it the more I like this seasons approach, if you bring back burns or aquire anther large RHS with length you have 5 D all over 6'2 and 210 with three of them having great offense too, make no mistake they want size and skill on the blue line now and its almost 100% directed at getting past FL.
    • Honestly the 2024 draft class(minus brooks). All are in line to be starters, expect crumedy who's fighting for a 53.  Still that class was looking terrible, is now looking like 4 starters and maybe 1 depth. Anytime you draft 2 starters and a key depth piece its a good draft. 4 starters are rare and that's with brooks who could have made 5 starters if not for awful luck.  That draft also helped land starter Michael Jackson in a round about way, big bonus..
    • Officially heading to the Jags game week one!  Section 240, visitors side just outside the club section.
