I would love Landry, though he hasnt ever been used as a deep threat in Miami, not saying he cant but not sure I would use that to describe him. I think he would continue to thrive as an underneath route catch and run type guy which we could use but with this staff he wouldnt be used properly like other guys we already have.

3rd depending on the contract extension we could work out with him. He's a free agent after this year, so any trade would have to be contingent on working out a new long-term deal.

I'd give a 2nd for Hilton.

Then again, trading a Hurney controlled 2nd round pick is pretty much the equivalent of giving up a conditional 7th.

So now everyone wants a deep threat but all during free agency we were “fine”

Making adjustments after determining your problems is a critical step in our evolution from Ron in game to roster moves during the season. Not mandatory but shooting a shot increasing our 2 20 yard plays in like three games or something can bring a big boost to us our defense is literally sick four games holding a opponent that no td man let's look at the bigger picture the NFC is open let's make a dam deal

The thing is, it shouldn’t have taken 8 games to determine that a deep/speed guy was needed.

This is something that should’ve been taken care of in the offseason (hello DeSean Jackson).

I want to see us make a trade just as bad as you but it’s not going to happen. This organization refuses to admit they’ve ever made a mistake.

This whole building a competent offense, really isn’t as hard as the Panthers make it out to be.

I think right now it has less to do with us admitting any mistake and a lot more due to the fact that Hurndog likely realizes that all he has to do to lock this job down long-term again is not do something rash that gets him fired in the meantime. He just needs to lay low and not cause any big waves and keep favored vets happy and it's all his. That's not a recipe for making a splash move.

Shula and Cam. Needs to start featuring Samuels,  Clay, bryd as primary targets. We will never know their potential until its done. They need to be 1st reads bc Cam is so dependent on KB and Fun sometimes i dont believe he looks their way.. Maybe thats the way the play is design but who in the world has 4 wrs with only 2 being actively seeking the ball.

    • If you can't get some playing time on a team with this many injuries and this many weak spots, then you're just not getting something. Maybe he can't learn the playbook, maybe he isn't catching on well with teammates, maybe he's just working through too many nagging but no debilitating injuries. Maybe he's a meathead that can hit someone right in front of him, but can't actually be part of a system. Who knows? I do know, though, that at this last moment of the regular season, if you aren't getting used, then it's because they have little use for you. They used to keep guys like this as a wedge buster for kick offs....
    • Cool I work that day. Let’s keep nfl football to Sundays thanks
    • Also add in you should know what you have after 2 years with coaching and 3 years with players. Well crap, 0 for 0 The fear that cutting a coach after 2 years is a negative is wildly overplayed around here. It's the standard. Yes Reich was fired in his first year but that's also forgetting/discounting all the crazy crap they had going on in house at that time. The only crazy part of that is it wasn't a complete purge.
