KB's knee is considered a ticking time bomb inside BOA

Buffalo is where careers go to die.

It'll be difficult for him to earn that big 2nd contract with Tyrod Taylor.

Haven't you heard? According to our boy Adam Schein, KB will finally get to play with a real QB now for the first time in his career.

Maybe he'll fail his physical and this whole thing will fall through.

Come on Benji. You know what you need to do. I expect to see you literally dragging your leg behind you.

LOL, not going to happen.  The guy just played a full game.

Physicals are more elaborate than this.

The Buffalo bills athletic trainers may be just the vessel we need to be shielded from Hurney's failure, and, perhaps even the ensuing embarrassment will prompt Richardson to relieve Hurney of his duties

oh this is happening. What a blessing in disguise this will all be

I have certain sources that tell me Kelvin is not considered even remotely healthy.  No one team-wise is happy about it, including those that cast the die.  It had to be done and KB is much more sad than angry because he knows his time is up.  He has NO hope.  The knee will not last.

The only thing I will say in response to this is that players in trades have to pass a physical by the team that they are sent to.

If KB fails that physical, you have good sources.

If KB passes that physical, you might just want to nod and smile at your "sources" in the future.  No team is going to spend a 3rd round choice on a player that has a "ticking time bomb" that they detect in that player's knee.

Until he's sent back and we cut him...

Some of you guys need to go back and read the original post.  The knee is "ok" now and may allow him to play for another year or two, but a long career is just not in the cards.  That's the cold reality of the NFL.

The Bills are 5-2.  When is the last time the Bills were 5-2?  They have one pretty good WR (Jordan Mathews) and a somewhat disappointing rookie (Zay Jones) starting.  They really need a vet WR and are willing to roll the dice on a guy with a chronic knee issue.

The only way any of this makes sense is if everyone has the understanding that KB's knee will last for another 1.5 seasons max.  Buffalo gets a legit possession receiver to make their playoff run.  The Panthers have assets to replace KBs production in Samuel and Shepherd.  The Panthers were unlikely to get a comp pick given the life expectancy of the knee, therefore getting a third now is not a bad alternative.

The only problem is Hurney now has an extra pick to draft some bum.

I'm sorry, Brandon Beane is not going to spend a 3rd round pick on a player who only has 2 years left to play and is going to cost him $8.4 million next year.

That's beyond ludicrous.
