I know everyone wants to rake Hurney over the coals about this, and I don't necessarily disagree. But the forgotten man in all this is Rivera. I think ultimately the reason Gano is here over Butker is Ron. He is steadfastly loyal to a fault.

Your right. It reaks of a Rivera move. Let's keep an expensive vet over a promising rookie bc "experience". Experience only gets you so far, talent is far and wide more valuable.
