Quick Question

Jeremy Igo

With no injuries?

I don't think he is active.   Not sure Hunt would have been active if not for injuries in K.C.

I think coaches / people in general are reluctant to replace people due to trust and the message it sends.

Yeah. Andy Reid always makes runningbacks look good in his scheme, and I doubt hunt gets up to speed better than CMC in our offense.

Plus ofc Rivera would hold him back.

Gets up to speed better in a Mike Shula Offense better than McCaffrey?  WOW.

In an alternative universe, the Panthers passed on CMC and drafted Hunt in the 3rd round.

1. Does Rivera recognize his potential?

2. Is Hunt active on game days?

3. Is he third string behind Stewart and Fozzy?

Man not a chance, chances are he ends up intactive until the bye maybe  for sure 3rd string maybe kickoff opportunities he can't see it and when he sees it he doesn't care anyone seen Cap running behind the same line as J Stew two weeks ago just to get put on ice for a ice cold Vet rb. He does things the Rivera way vets until we're forced into something else

If hunt played, he would get very few carries and they would be the same carries and same blocking schemes that we see CMC get. I think you could expect about the same results.

How about this question:

If after starting his Panther career with 6-10 and 7-9 records, we had replaced Rivera with Andy Reid, would the tailor already be getting HOF-jacket measurements for Cam and Mccaffrey?

I'd think Cam would be a top 3 QB year-in, year-out. Mccaffrey would be OROY, no questions.

Hypotheticals are fun to think about. As mentioned, had KC not had their starting running backs go down, Hunt may have never seen the field.  By the same token, had Drew Bledsoe not been injured in 2001, would some little known 6th round pick have ever seen the field for NE? Or might he have been traded like Garoppolo was recently?

Like I said, fun to think about.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
