Andrew Luck's Career is possibly over.

Those blaming this solely on the Colts are wrong. Some guys are just made to take hits and others aren’t. Luck isn’t made for it and he played his whole career like he was 6’6” 280. Cam has taken twice the punishment and is still playing bc he’s a better athlete. Sick of the Luck disciples not taking into account his physical limitations as a QB. Dude isn’t better than Cam and never was better than him. But bc he’s a more polished pocket thrower and a white guy they’ll always blame the organization for his injuries and blame “Cam and his style of play” for the injuries that Cam suffers. It’s bullshit.

Not to mention Cam has played essentially a season and a half with a shoulder injury and were currently #1 in our division. Lucks been on th sideline that whole time.

Those of you blaming the Colts....what if he wanted to play?

Remember, at that level it's all about the money first and foremost.....and since he played through it, he got PAID.

If he never throws a football again, he's still made 80M so far, with I think 30M to go still.

I would like to see a break down of exactly why Luck would be done, Right now it feels like a mystery. I mean teddy bridgewater knee exploded and he is able to play how is possible Luck is done?

If knees are complicated to fix, shoulders are infinitely moreso. Knees bend in one direction, shoulders ... well, just try for yourself. That's a lot of mechanics in there.

its strange reading that Irsay thinks its all in Lucks head then reading about his career maybe over.

That really sucks. I have no problem with Luck and hold no grudge against him for staying in school for his senior year like some in this community. The guy has always been a class act.

Maybe the Colts can trade him a-la the Chargers with Brees in 2006 and draft Sam Darnold, who I think is the most overrated QB in CFB this year.

Colin Cowherd strongly suggesting this.

Ehhh, Irsay is on the hook for $30 million if that career is over. Of course he's going to say it's all in Luck's head.

I read he did what Cam did, knew his shoulder was hurt but kept passing through the pain. Difference was he apparently hurt his in the beginning of the season, like game three and kept playing. Having surgery a week after an injury and 10 months after an injury are two completely different things. He changed his mechanics to lessen the pain which put more stress on different parts of his shoulder which only increased the damage. Hate it for the guy but I find this mentality of "I've got to play through the pain to show the other guys I'm with them" is stupid and in his case possible career ending.

HE injured the shoulder in 2015. Played all of 2016 with it.
