Both sets of stats are marginally (or more) improved from the previous week, and that's a positive.

Only one game has been played this week. Most teams have only played 9 games. These numbers are likely to shift in either direction by Tuesday.

There was another stat that shows we're 2nd in the league in total first downs.  We've really been shooting ourselves in the foot with turnovers and sacks.

Were getting into our offensive grove and peaking at the right time. We will have the #1 D as well as a top 5 offense.

We are a really good, if flawed, team. Definitely seem to be trending in the right direction at the right time, though.

Keep in mind that we've stopped opponents 6 times on 4th down. Almost as good as a turnover.

Our time of possession and 3rd down conversion rate has nullified that luckily, now if we can get the turnover train moving again.

I’m hoping for a regression to the mean in those takeaway areas. Would be nice if it really kicks in gear in the playoffs

I am surprised we are that high in rushing. I thought we would be alot worse stat wise but im sure the last 2 games boosted us about 10 spots lol. Another thing is we are only averaging a win by 3 points if you look at points scored and points given up. In order to have a more comfortable line of 7 either the o needs to score more or the defense needs to give up less. Seeing as how we have the top defense i dont see it getting too much better. Which means we need the O to score more points. Even an extra 6 points a game would help. I think if the defense can get more turn overs from anyone not named luke we will be fine and able to go to NFC championship round. The more chances we have to score in 2nd q or 3rd q the better. We dont want to have cam tired continuously like in the eagles game. Where even though we had 3 chances to take over and win, you could just see that cam was exhausted and frustrated.

We do need some more ball hawks. Turnover differential is many times the most important stat.
