when cam threw 1 ball that was initially beind funchess last game I thought it was going to be a pick 6. But Funchess works back to the ball, snatches it, and sprints down the sideline. I'm not sure KB would have made a play like that, he might have half heartedly stuck an arm backwards and tipped that bitch up in the air for the Jets to pick off.

Lmaooo....truth

^ life must suck for that guy.

loved KB. Saddened to see him traded but also knew that this is a business. Looking better and better a decision. Why do some people go so far to bash the management of this team when they think things are bad, but nobody credits them for the good things?

Such a shame. Sometimes, I wonder whether tearing up his knee after his rookie year started a domino effect.

Well, it's not uncommon that joint injuries (knees, hips, ankles) will likely resurface after the opposite joint is injured, especially among athletes. Your body simply adjusts to the injury, and with high level athletes that means the other joint is going to take over more work.

However, that usually presents as ligament damage over the short term, which this injury is relative to his original ACL injury.

His meniscus tear was violent (hit in the knee), and it probably would have happened no matter what.

That said, the meniscus tear isn't actually that big a deal. Meniscuses are meant to tear. They're like little bone pillows. Olympic Lifters, for example, will go on squat cycles to try to make the torn piece rip off entirely. I wouldn't recommend that btw.

Kelvin was at risk for knee injuries just due to his build. He had weird, long limbs without a lot of posterior engagement (tiny butt). Teams are looking at stuff like this now because it's a big red signal that he's at risk for knee injuries. Add on how fat he is/was, and this was always going to happen.

The idea of trading KB and moving Funch to the no. 1 spot has never been the issue.  The problem from day one was that it appeared to be a spur of the moment decision and that we got no immediate replacement in return.

Before we annoint Hurney with the "win", one WR with a catch Sunday...
