Payton reportedly trolled the Falcons (but denies it)

Saints head coach Sean Payton apparently likes 28-3 jokes too, though I'd say this one kind of backfired on him (link).

Is this the kind of thing you would want your head coach doing or would you prefer a coach that always behaves professionally?

Pretty sure that had nothing to do with him trolling them over the 28-3 collapse and everything to do with him fantasizing getting choked by a big, nasty RT

Well, how'd that work out for him? 

He also tripped the ref on the way off the field. The guy can coach, but he's a douchebag and I'm glad we don't have a guy like that representing the Panthers. Stoic Ron might piss me off sometimes, but I'd much rather be frustrated by his lack of outward enthusiasm than watch in embarrassment as he acted like Sean Payton on a pill bender.

Paytons job would have been on the chopping block if he had bad season again most likely and he will do what ever it takes to keep it and it seems to be working.
