The Cowboys are firing QB Coach Wade Wilson.

Wilson has long been considered one of the better quarterback coaches in the league. It's speculated that he and other coaches that are being let go are scapegoats for Jason Garrett.

Wilson and Rivera have never worked together but they played against each other as division rivals for several years when Wilson was with the Vikings.

Won't lie. I'd can Ken Dorsey for Wilson in a heartbeat.

Edit: My dates were off. Wilson and Rivera actually did work together for three years in Chicago (04-06). Wilson was the quarterback coach and Rivera was the defensive coordinator.

playoffs 3 times in 4 years means you don't need to make any coaching changes and saying such makes you a fake fan or something.

Getting Newton a real quarterback coach, and one with a reputation like Wilson, would be a phenomenal move.

But you're right, we probably won't.

      If he was betting on other sports (hell, even other teams) I don't think he gets the blowback it got him. Making quite a large number of bets on team total unders and his individual prop unders is about as bad as it gets. Like honestly, the NFL/owners would rather you be a murderer or rapist than be betting unders on your own individual props... I still didn't see the talent to warrant a 1st round pick without the gambling scandal. With it, I think he might be a 4th or 5th rounder and would not be shocked if he is just straight blackballed by NFL organizations

      Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
