Time to sound off.... Panthers at Saints Predictions

Surprising low scoring run oriented game. 17-13 Panthers

Cam gets 2 TDs (1 rushing 1 passing) to Brees' 0.  Brees held under 200 yards, though Ingram and Kamara combine for around 175 total yards from scrimmage. Cam throws for about 175 with 70 rushing yards, very efficient with no turnovers. Luke has an interception and Pep has a strip sack recovered by Mario in our own red zone. Mario, Shaq and KK each get a sack as well. Bradberry/Worley shut Thomas down to the tune of 27 yards on 6 targets. Gano hits his field goal to put up up 4 with under 2 minutes left. Brees drives down into field goal range but they can't finish in the endzone and turnover on downs before we kneel for the win.

I think this one is going to be a surprise.

Panthers win 33-27

It is a back and forth game all along, with each of us answering each other. A late (sub 2:00 left to go in the game) TD gives us a tie. They get the ball back but don't have time to get a score. The Saints win the coin flip in overtime and we end up forcing a three and out because Ted Ginn drops a pass. We drive down the field and score a TD for the win.

Igo...it's time to update your front page from the Packers....it's a playoff game Sunday man.

Anyway....a lot of talk has been about how bad the Panthers have looked the past two games.  We were disappointed especially after the Bucs game.  We all asked....how are we going to beat the Saints?  Well the Saints just lost to the Bucs and it's hard to beat a team 3 times.

I'm going Panthers 28-27.

Panthers 27 Saints 24

Saints get the ball with 1 min left down three on their own 10 yard line. Every panther fan laments that Rivera punted on 4-1 from the 50 instead of having Cam dive for a first down and sealing the game.

saints are moving the ball. They're at their own 50 when Brees throws a comeback route to Ted Ginn. The ball bounces off his hands and is intercepted by Mike Adams.

I don't ever do a prediction because I'm never confident we win. For some reason i have this feeling like we win.

27-20 Panthers

2 interceptions with one a pick six on Brees bc he's pushing to hard

Olsen finally finds his footing and gets a big chunk play in the 2nd half

Kamara fumbles in the first half plays scared the rest of the game.

We run a trick play that works for a 60 yd TD

I don't think this is the unattainable task that some seem to think it is.  Saints have only combined for 100 total yds rushing once since the Panthers last played them weeks ago. Combine that with a 3-3 record and I don't think the Saints are the same team that they were earlier in the year. Something is definitely different.

But then, teams have been stacking the box against them more the last few weeks and unfortunately Brees is the best in the league passing when teams do that and the Panthers are defensively one of the worst defending the pass when they stack the box so that sucks.

This really is a tough game to call. I've got nothing.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27
    • Your intelligence is artificial.
    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
