Holy poo...holy fugin poo is Rivera actually gonna try to win this game?

Not having CJ active is one of the smartest moves he ever did as a HC. If he's inactive you're forced to actually play the better players rather than be loyal to a shittier player. Excellent.

I was about to say this is actually incredible for him.

Wow, that's pretty incredible to see.  Gotta think that this changes some things for the saints attack.  Guess they wanted more speed on the edge and keeping Seymour off might be a sign of more man coverage, I think those 2 things go hand in hand and would signify a change in strategy for attacking the saints offense.  Just my guess though.

What’s crazy is it’s taken game #3 for them to potentially change the scheme against the saints.

I think the PED suspension was the public writing on the wall for him. I think if we win he plays next week though against vikings. I can see him being low key effective with stopping their rushing attack. But this week have man coverage and hopefully wrap up tacking so that brees has to beat us (which he can) but follow game plan other teams have done to beat the saints (we were close to beating them our selves) and you have a really entertaining game.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
