Ron's refusing to comment on anything Newton said.

Starting to wonder if Newton wasn't happy about this.

Or maybe he's happy about it from a football standpoint. Doesn't mean that Cam doesn't like and respect them as people but the frustration was all over Cam's face at times this year.

Nothing wrong with ball control and chewing clock. You want to see what happens when you don't, go see what happened to Andy Reid in KC on Saturday. The key is being efficient. We need to score when we have our red zone opportunities. That was where Shula's offense failed in all but one year.

Everything Ron said about our offense moving forward makes firing Shula actually pointless.

Ron doesn’t have the slightest of clues when it comes to the strength of this team

and you do? LOL

RR says he's considering a "couple" of candidates, then added "a few."

Rivera says one of the reasons for the timing of the move was to make sure Shula and Dorsey could get in the hiring cycle for other teams.

Lol neither of them are going to be in the mix don’t even try and play that card Ron

doubtful

Mike was his first QB coach and has been here his entire career, that continuity and stability is something anyone would like. And it's pretty known that Cam and Ken are friends (more like peers than coach/player, which was a big problem) similar to Cam and DA or Webb when he was here. Maybe Cam didn't like Shula's play calling at times but I would bet he would put more blame on offensive struggles on talent at WR (or OL in past years) than on Shula, even though both are equally important to upgrade.
