Putting Cam under center in the Air Croyell will be the greatest blunder in the history of coaching hires.

It's not working.  It loses more yards than it gains.  It's time to retire it.  Now Norv may use it as a "trick" play if the situation arises, but as a staple of the offense?  No.  And I'm fine with that.

I agree that it should not be a staple, but it is effective when used correctly. I just expect it to be used more effectively under Norv, as that is one of his strengths. Recognizing mismatches and getting the right player the ball.

Teddy Bridgewater is 6'3, 215 lbs, and ran a 4.79 40 yd dash

Cam Newton is 6'5, 250 lbs, and ran a 4.59 40 yd dash

They ARE NOT the same qb. Stop trying to compare teddy bridgewater to cam newton. Teddy may be a touch more accurate than cam but other than that cam is far and away a better qb. Stop trying to say Norv's offense won't work because he didn't use Teddy Bridgewater right. You're comparing apples to oranges.

I'm honestly surprised Teddy is that tall. Doesn't look it

Norv is not a Shanahan— which I want. Bootlegs, more open to read options and play action, scheming guys open. Jeez the Falcons make that look easy.

norv may surprise us and fully adapt a lot of his concepts much like Chud did,... but i believe that in the beginning he will push Cam to go completely into what he wants.

now, if it goes sideways, Norv will either resign again, or he will adapt, or we will trade Cam.

3 options.

It will be option one.  The rest will be decided by the new owner.  My guess is they all will be out with exception of Cam.

If Norv gets the job he’s going to have to mold his scheme around what Cam does well. He’s not going to come in here and totally change how Cam plays.

He won't try to totally change Cam but he will require Cam's commitment to playing it his way the majority of the time.

I can't name 1 NFL coach that would get Cam Newton and say....you know what....I know he can do all these great things but I only want to use a fraction of what he can do.

Norv is going to take advantage of Cam.  Hell, even a horrible coach like Shula used all Cam's bonus'.  Issue with Shula is what Shula had to offer simply sucked.  Norv actually brings good things.

Just gonna go ahead and say it.  Cam already struggles with throwing off his back foot in the shotgun.  I've said all along Cam's issue has never been accuracy. That has never been THE problem -- the issue is getting that big body of his in a position to make the throw. Norv put Bridgewater in this system and he was expected to be a dual-threat QB a lot like Cam, and Teddy ended up getting pressured more than any QB in the league on said plays. Basically, it took away his greatest strength and forced him to play in a system he had never played at the same time.

Lol Bridgewater was pressured because of his LT... Which we also happen to have on this roster.

If asking Cam to be a real quarterback is too much... Then he's the problem. He's never had anybody push him to change or be a better passer.  He will be fine if we run a Norv Turner offense if he's open to change and wants to do whatever necessary to win. Quit being so negative towards the idea of change

Yea, you don't really understand how this works do you? Tyronn Lue does not walk into the locker room swinging his prick around asking Lebron James to adapt to his system. Cam Newton has actually done something relevant in the last 20 years as member of the NFL. Norv Turner, not so much. It goes both ways.

The fact that you compare the NFL to the NBA shows that it is you that doesn't understand how this works.
