Divisional Round Playoffs , Saturday Games Thread

4:35 PM Falcons at Eagles

8:15 PM Titans at Patriots

Probably alot of people here not in the mood to watch it, but hey its Saturday and playoff football. I'm rooting for all the underdogs or teams that haven't won a superbowl, so Eagles and Titans.  I'm heavily expecting the Falcons and Patriots to win, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if either lost.

The Eagles looked pretty bad in their last couple of games with Wentz being out . Bellicheck is going to force Mariota to beat him passing downfield and will sell out to stop the running game and the short checkdowns he likes so much.

Its kinda obvious that they were saving the best matchups for tomorrow (Jags at Steelers , Saints at Vikings).

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
