Vrabel was also only a one year coordinator. And per the Texans beat writers, the defense got worse under his watch.

Guess the Patriots connection was important there, but again, who has left New England and been any good?

As I've said they are the Titanic. It will probably end in disaster.

Losing Bouye, Watt, Mercilus couldn’t have helped that defense

Agree. Vrabel was very overrated. Not sure why some media were making him out to be much better than he was.

Im a guy who believes that the NFL should get rid of the Rooney Rule, but then these stuffs happen. This is a perfect example why the Rooney Rule wont go away. And Im not pointing out hiring HCs based on color alone. Other guys that have the resume’ to be HC will never get a look bc of teams hiring guys based off coaching tree and family tree.

What about our HC then and who he hires? He doesn't exactly hire the best and we have the entire Turner family on our staff.

    • His on target percentage is way down. 79% last year down to 64% this year.
    • I think we will surprise. We'll run all over them, and Dalton will be able to spread the ball around more effectively than Bryce. I just don't see a blowout like some are predicting. I heard the same thing about the Cowboys, but the Bills don't have anything close to Pickens. Not guaranteeing a win or anything, but it is possible. It will be closer than people think.
    • If you look at almost all Daniels stats, they are as good or better than last year minus perhaps Completion Percentage. I don't think Daniels himself is having very much less individual success than the Redskins are reverting to the mean.  https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46003861/nfl-teams-likely-decline-lose-more-games-2025-season-predictions-vikings-chiefs-commanders-lions-colts#wsh Barnwell wrote about them in the preseason as a team that had an inordinate amount of luck or success in one score games that wasn't very likely to be repeated.
