You've been a real gloomy goose lately. Everything okay?

Me personally?  I'm fine.

Not looking forward to another year of Hurney.  We already lived through that mess long enough.

But on the upside, we'll be free from Richardson soon.

Better times ahead

even I can be Polly Anna in desperate times

there is always the rally cry ‘at least we aren’t fill in the blank’

as long as Cam and Luke are on this team we have a chance

This is funny to me. I recall the hundreds of arguments I've gotten into with you over the years about Richardson. Glad to see your tune changed.

I always believed Richardson did a poor job choosing people and making football decisions. What I argued against was the notion that he cared about money more than winning. That argument never made any sense because more winning equals more money.

When he stepped back and let somebody else choose the general manager and let the general manager make the decisions, that was when he got my support. That was the smart thing to do, and the results proved it.

I had no idea he'd go back on it and screw everything up again. When he pulled that stunt, I lost whatever faith in him I might have had.

It turns out there was indeed something he cared about more than winning. It just wasn't money.

    • What people fail to understand is Lance had a college career that lasted about as long as teenage boys first intercourse.  To say he was raw was an understatement.  So much so that even a QB whisperer had a difficult time molding him into a polished NFL product on top of multiple nagging injuries.  The dud is in his mid-twenties, finally healthy and little miles on the tread.  Low risk, high reward.  If he's available, it would be stupid not to kick the tires.  It took Darnold and Mayfield to hit their 3rd or 4th team for things to finally click.  This is Lance's 3rd stop, I believe.  It's either time for it to click for him or be relegated to a full time backup. Roll the dice....
    • Wrong.  At least we put a QB sneak in the play book and and add plays over 20 yards.
    • I don’t know if people realize that Evan’s was one of the top TE prospects in college  before having some horrible injuries. I wanna say he had two major injuries in back to back seasons which limited his play and dropped his draft stock.
