I like the trade because of Benjamin's knee but I don't think Funchess is number either. We need someone that is a playmaker and the number no questions asked. I don't think u can say that with Funchess.

Makes my head hurt to ponder what we do if Funchess gets hurt.  We need a FA WR we know can play and at last 2 youngins in the draft IMO.

Players are always all in. They have to be.

Most people on here believe Rivera coaches better when he's on the hot seat. In that line of thinking, this would likely be considered a positive.

The wild card is Hurney.

As long as Jerry Richardson was owner, Marty's never really been in much of a position to think he needed to win to save his job. His being in that spot now could mean good things or bad things. We really don't have anything to go by.

It's a big unknown at this point, but I guess we'll see how it plays out.

Benjamin had true star number one potential, Funchess doesn't appear to really have that, he has the ability to be a good WR, but not a star number one receiver. My point isn't Benjamin is a star number one receiver, my point is--his rookie season. He showed he had the potential to be something better than what he is. Hell, even this season I saw him use his huge frame to make some great 3rd down conversions and stuff that made him a nightmare to cover and certainly that funchess will never have the capability of making as well as most receivers in the NFL. Benjamin has the potential that Funchess doesn't, but Funchess, after the Benjamin trade, appears to be the better receiver.

Also read from his presser that they don't know if they view Funchess as a #1 or #2 wr and that their primary focus this off-season is to get a wr and build on the position. We need to get Cam a playmaker and tell gettlemans little bitch Shepherd to hit the door!!!!

I recognized he said Shepherd name last when talking about the receivers. Funchess was first and Byrd was second, then the others and Shepherd last

Totally agree. We have to get a go-to wr that u can depend on no matter what. Funchess is good to be like the Mushin Muhammad someday but we need the Steve Smith. We have to go out there and get that for Cam Newton!!
