I'm aware Breeland played on the outside, but my point is how well?  And if I'm not mistaken, a few of the Rams games I watched last year, NRC actually had to play on the outside as well due to injuries, and he produced.

Well According to next gen stats pretty damn good. 8th lowest completion percentage when targeted.

Cmon now those facts mean nothing. PFF graded 79 means nothing.

some huddlers saw a few Redskins games and the jury is out - he sucks

Why?

one is a nickel the other is a legit #2 CB.

what is there to compare

He’s a nickel CB. That pays less. We could always just say compare Smith to Watkins too since they are both WRs.

Then there is this...

If his greatest asset is the slot, then is he worth 3M per more than NRC?

I didn't have an issue with the signing.  I have an issue with the price.  And great for PFF, but when I watched him play on the outside in 2016, he was targeted just like Worley.  If the stats suggest he has improved, great, but I'm not comfortable with 8M per from what I've seen of him.  I hope I am wrong.

Breeland has found success, particularly when playing in the slot. Per Pro Football Focus, no cornerback allowed a lower passer rating in the slot during the 2016 season than Breeland.

Exactly.

”now Cam Newton you be a good ol boy and take this team friendly deal!”

Cams being like Tom Brady with team friendly deals, but at 29 not 40,..

thats supposed to be so we get the guy help and win superbowls,..

since Cam drafted, 1 Super Bowl appearance,... Tom Brady 4 and won 2?

something really wrong with this.

Cam could be like Drew Brees and others cleaning team out and getting the same result.

hummm,...

Cam go paid at market value at the time so it was not a team friendly deal per se

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
