He’s going to bust as a QB. So will Mayfield and Allen.

I highly doubt we take a CB in the first round. Maybe S, but I just don't see CB. 

I just think we're shooting for another playmaker for the offense in the first round.

I noticed there are a bunch of CBs right around our pick. Would not surprise me. A good CB could make this defense really excel, and there are less options for those in FA.

I'm torn on Mayfield. I love his attitude and he is definitely very accurate. But, huge college production doesn't always equal great NFL player and his freestyling ways concern me in transitioning to the NFL. I'll say the same thing about him that I did about Cam Newton and Johnny Manziel - he's boom or bust. I think he'll either be great or he'll be awful. His game will either translate or it won't. I can't see anything in the middle. I still wish that Manziel wasn't such a fug up off the field. I really wanted to see if he could do it in the NFL. Man that guy was FUN to watch in college.

Yeah, I think the Manziel comparison is lazy. Manziel wasn't nearly as accurate as Mayfield.

But did I compare him to Manziel? I only mentioned Manziel and Cam because I see Mayfield as another boom or bust QB, not because I think they're similar players on the field. Mayfield is a much more polished passer and isn't near the athlete that Manziel was/is.
