Torrey Smith Highlights Thread

Yea I know its cherry picking his good plays , but this dude looks far from done to me. I'm excited to see what he brings to the team this season, especially with the likes of Funchess, Olsen , CMC taking attention away from him. His stats are way better than Ginns were prior to coming here and hes a 2x SB champion.

Based on his experience and the role he's expected to play, he should be starting opposite Funchess day 1.

The real question now is if Samuel and Byrd can stay healthy . Because if they can, that means we have 3 speed WRs who we know can get separation and explosive plays for. Id really like it if Torrey could mentor Byrd and Samuel and help make them into quality WRs.

Its going to be really interesting to see what our offense is going to look like under Norv Turner's guidance. After aquiring that other dude at WR, it possible we may not even draft one this year

My favorite Torrey Smith highlight isn't on this list.  It's the one where the Ravens left him completely uncovered and all Kaep had to do was throw him the ball for an easy 98 yard TD.  But instead, he handed the ball off for no gain...

Just think what Mike Shula could have done with all of these speed additions at WR. Im afraid we have squandered Shula's potential with not getting him the right weapons.

Pretty sure I detect sarcasm, but just in case...

That is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.  At no point during your random incoherent babbling did you say anything that could be remotely considered an actual thought. We are all dumber for having read it.   I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.

    • Think the "official time" put out was 4.48, but there were a lot of scouts there who of course all had difference times as it's all handed timed by them.  Think I saw it as low as 4.43 and as high as 4.62 or something, but in the end it's all basically the same speed because 40 yard dash is so pointless. Anyone who complains about his speed is just someone who wants a Chase/Jefferson/Nabers style #1 as opposed to an Evans style #1 who isn't going to beat you because of his speed but his other abilities. In the end, he's fast enough for a player his size and surprisingly quicker and more agile than people give him credit for too. The real problem is that Panthers fans can't get our past big WR failures out of their head, they hear "big WR" and automatically see a plodding KB or Jarrett in their minds and assume that's also T-Mac.
    • If you are buying Silver Club, 300 level, try and the buy ones that have the Lot 1 parking pass.  it is steps to the stadium Also, buy on the shade side my PSls used to be section 342, under the overhang.  I didnt care about sun or rain plenty of sites have interactive  maps that can show you   Just know, if they are opposite side of 342, the sun will beat on your head…endzones too.   if, you know for sure that you are going, and you need a hotel room, do it now  you can always cancel … remember, even if the panthers suck,  the national press follows them as do their fans.  Hotel rooms go fast for that game
    • didn't he run like a 4.52?
