Well based on past 2nd round picks Hurney will be drunk as well.

While its not always the case, CBs usually are not year one, impact players. Most of the time, year 2/3 is when it finally clicks. Even some top tier CB aren't ready year one.

As impact goes.  I think both Wynn and Hernandez are day 1 impact players. Wynn from a technical side.  And Hernandez from a brute force side.  Can’t deny it.  I got me a man crush on Hernandez.  He is a fuggin mauler. That could leave us Moton to go to tackle in a contract year for Williams and the cut year for baby hughey on the left side.  

I wouldnt be upset with a good corner. 

Or Moore. 

But for god sake can we get back to running the freakin football and stop having our quarterback lead the team in rushing.

Historically speaking, our defense under Rivera generally protects CBs. We rarely ask our CBs to man up on an elite receiver and hope for the best. We did more of that last year and we all saw the results of that.

We're probably going to have a defensive system in place that a quality rookie CB prospect could likely enjoy immediate success.
