Josh Rosen let it all fly out there. Calls out all the High School players that were above him. Says he'll still be in the NFL in the long run.

I agree... but there is a certain point where you go from being a competitor to being a pre-madonna. RGIII and Manziel both wore it on their sleeves and they didn't pan out too well. As much as people hate it...

Image result for attitude reflects leadership

I've always wanted to use that meme

I dont thibk rosen is attracting drama on perpose. Not an attention whore narcistist lile RG3

i just think he was being honest of his motivation and it didnt quite come across as PR friendly. Like i said he gets asked a million queations like that trying to pry revealing info and this instance he was just being honest. He let his drew brees russel wilson fake ass, says everything right to stay PR friendly, guard down.

Not an RG3 or Manziel. Hes just real. This fake ass leadership can either work for you like brees or work against you like russel. Russel has had several teamates call him out on his good ol boy act.

Be like cam. Genuine, lead by example, get everyone pumped and ready to play. Dont need the fake good PR soldier mentality to get people to thibk you are all mature and humble when you really aren't media wise.  that sshit is fake and is for personal ego and image boosting purposes

I got no problem with players calling out the competition..

Lemme put it this way - if Cam came out and roasted Locker, Gabbert and Ponder during the draft process - I would HOPE we wouldn't sway on Cam and pick up one of those other guys who All might be out of the league at this point..

I like this.  I'd rather have a guy who's had to fight and claw his way to the top.  That chip on his shoulder doesn't sound like it's disappearing anytime soon.  That's exactly the kind of guy you need in a huddle.  If he puts it together on the field with that attitude he'll do good things.

you're actually being exactly that guy.

Shoot, I forgot we live in a society where we’re all delicate, beautiful snowflakes and everyone gets a participation trophy. If preserving feelings takes priority over education and knowledge, then these are sad times for humanity.

never said there was anything wrong with correcting/educating people, capt grumpypants.  If you're going to do it, own it.  Don't beat around the bush and do it passive aggressively.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
