sharing my board for third==not in order

1.       Justin Reid, S, Stanford

I think Reid would be a nice addition, but unlikely he will fall.

2.       Ronnie Harrison, S, Alabama

I think Harrison drops more than people realize; overrated?

3.       Sam Hubbard, DE  Ohio St.

Hubbard at 55 would be a great pick; he could be there.

5.       Rasheem Green, DE USC

The Panthers love to move DE’s inside at times. RG is that guy.

6.       Martinas Rankin, C, Miss St.

Smart with shortish arms, projects to a good NFL C.  Yes, Marty.

7.       Tyrell Crosby, G, Oregon

Flying under the radar, Crosby will be a good NFL guard.

8.       Chukwuma Okorafor T W Mich

6-6 300 and runs a sub 4.9 40.,

9.       Mason Cole C Michigan

Can play T, a decent, smart C at Michigan

10.   Orlando Brown, T Oklahoma

Many teams have removed him from the board after combine

11.   Joseph Noteboom T  TCU

Athletic T that runs sub 5.0 40. 6-5 , 310

12.   Jamarco Jones, T/G Ohio St.

I project to LG, but nice that he can play RT.

13.   Ian Thomas, Indiana TE

6-4 260

14.   Mason Rudolph  QB Ok St.

I doubt he survives the Dolphins, Broncos, etc. but he is a value

15.   Kyzir White SS WVU

6-2, 220, physical SS

16.   Marcus Allen FS Penn St.

Underrated.  Smart and quick  6-2, 215

17.   Tarvaious Moore FS So. Miss

4.35 40 and 6-0 200

18.   Chris Herndon, Miami  TE

6-4, 250

19.   Troy Fumagalli, Wisconsin TE

6-5, 250 9 fingers

20.   Tavarius Moore, FS So. Miss

Sub 4.4 at FS would really help the CBs-underrated prospect.

21.   Kyle Lauletta, Richmond QB

6-3, accurate, below average arm

22.   Mike White, WKy QB

6-5—a young Derek Anderson, probably smarter

23.   Nyheim Hines NC State RB

24.   Scat back and special teamer. 4.38 40

25.   Jaylen Samuels NC State RB

26.   Between the tackles, good hands.  220 lbs.  runs 4.55

27.   Royce Freeman Oregon RB

28.   Jonathan Stewart-like size

29.   John Kelly, Tennessee RB

30.   Short (5’10”) but weighs 215.  Tough RB, underrated

31.   Duke Ejiofor, Wake Forest DE

Decent size and motor, limited athleticism

32.   Josh Sweat, FSU DE

Freakish speed (4.53) for 6-5, 250

33.   Chad Thomas Miami DE

6-5 280—big boy. 4.9 speed.

34.   Ade Aruna, Tulane DE

A project, but at 6-5 260 and runs a 4.6, maybe, just maybe

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
