Haha- all of you think you know more than NFL scouts.

You’re right - these guys get paid to watch, scout and interview these kids. They know a much greater deal than any of us (for the most part). However, if we don’t question their choices or have our own thoughts to contribute what’s the purpose of the huddle?

These types of posts are so lazy. What is the point of having any discussion then?

Perhaps, but so is all the bitching. The general thought behind his post stands true.

I don't know anything about this dude, but, undersized or not, he was very productive.

Bitching just to bitch, I agree. But pointing out things like undersized and marginal athleticism, that's actual discussion. So is pointing out his good production.

Love the player, hate the pick. He's reported to be smart, high-character, high-work ethic, special teams demon and a team leader. May have taken him a little high, but you can say that about pretty much every pick we made. I like him, but I feel like he could have been had later, and there was talent at positions of greater need.

    • Having trouble finding all these articles saying the Raiders withheld information. Here’s the latest from Crosby’s surgeon: ElAttrache told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning that Crosby was "doing very well in the early part of his rehab and recovery from surgery to treat a significant meniscus tear and the related stress injury to the bone and cartilage in his knee. He is certainly on track in his planned program." "We truly respect the work of the Ravens' staff with Maxx regarding the contract physical exam. We also understand the challenge the staff faces when tasked to provide a future risk assessment based on an evaluation early in the recovery process," ElAttrache said. "This is especially challenging when dealing with an elite player like Maxx considering the level of commitment necessary for a team to obtain him. The timing of this assessment is unfortunate because the apparent risk will lessen as his recovery progresses and his return to performance over the next few months becomes clear."     So the Ravens excuse is the future risk assessment based on the physical, not that the Raiders withheld information. They found an excuse to save face publicly. They had the right to cancel the trade for no reason at all, but they’re trying to save face with the most acceptable reasoning they can find. I’ve heard and seen the Ravens getting dragged everywhere for this. You know what would be an easy way to put a stop to that if you’re the Ravens and the Raiders were actually the shady ones withholding information? Just come out and say that you were not given all the medical information. But they aren’t saying that. I guess they’re just taking the bullet for the Raiders just because?    Speculation indeed.
    • Two first round picks for a guy with very questionable knees who will be 29 this summer. Yes it is safe to say the Ravens got cold feet.
    • The salary cap is the reason we got Phillips and Lloyd
