Lots of options. Deepest WR group since ‘03.

On paper.

It seems that it can take guys awhile to adjust to playing with Cam. The fact that only Funch has significant reps with Cam is a bit worrying.

But yeah, I agree there are a lot of fun possibilities in this group.

Funchess and Samuel outside, Moore slot. Funchess X, Samuel Z, and Moore Y/F.

Yes, Samuel hasn't had that many opportunities, but all indications show he'd be perfect on the outside burning corners deep. Once again, he can burn corners deep and is probably one of our better route runners on the team, and is arguably the fastest right up with Byrd and even Smith.

Torrey Smith will likely get the veteran nod, but I question whether he truly has better "hands" than Samuel. At the very least I'd love to see the both of them interchange at that spot, because we can't just waste Samuel at all.

Yes, Steve Smith hyped up Moore. Yes, he has potential and I understand that part. However, I'm not ready to crown Moore to play a position he really has no business playing just yet. Rivera mentioned he plans on having him playing primarily the slot, and occasional X.

Moore simply just needs more refinement in his routes. Watch his tape, and you'll notice he's clearly in need of some coaching. Lance Taylor should be able to draw it out of him, but I question if he'd be ready by his rookie year to make that impact his potential has.

Keep him in the slot and let him eat the short and intermediates where he thrives. Ease him into a bigger role as he gains more experience and gets better.

Sounds all good but can Samuel beat press coverage?

I remember Peyton said he would be working with wr ahead of training camp and also staying after practice to get extra time with WR.

Cam needs to step up and get some chemistry with these guys as much as he can on his own time.

I see a circled receiver wide open off a classic bunch formation rub route and Cam running for his life, while the Center is blocking air. Cam looks off S and turns, sets to throw easy completion, but circle looks back to late.

I already have posted my 3 earlier but now for what I want to see.

Blitzkrieg Package; 4WR 1RB package:

Smith and Moore outside

Curtis and Byrd slot

CMC in the backfield.

All WRs on Go routes and CMC as the dump off.

Stretch the field with speed or gut it with CMC.

Moore was actually a very good selection. Funchess’ contract time is around the corner and I don’t know if the team makes an expensive commitment to him

Eh Funchess hasn’t earned an expensive commitment. He’s earned a cheap commitment of maybe 3 years 3mil per year

He gone if that’s the offer. That’s why I’m saying Moore was a good pick.

Whatever combo ya come with, should include Funchess.

So if Moore lives up to the Smitty billing, it'll be

Moore, Funchess, Smith until Samual us ready to take Smith's spot.

I agree. .  Once Samuel is fully healthy he'll move in.  Samuel was really starting to show off when he got hurt.

Best thing is that if one goes down we still have WR that we won't be going..... OMG not him.
