Hi-yo!

I will tone down the sax for this thread and just keep it a little saxy...(I am being somewhat serious; serious...as serious as Russelfo from the dawn furry excursion in Temecula the other weekend):

With new ownership, does Bojangles stay?  I mean, if we're talking tearing down JR's statue, could we be seeing Cook Outs or BBQ replacing the Bo-zones?

I do have some great past-times of getting the strip boxes with a tall cool brew at BoFa..but we could see a big thing happen here.  I associate getting Bojangles at that stadium almostttt more than that awesome eastern style BBQ at Hornets games @the coliseum back in the day.

So..

Does it stay or go?

Don’t make no difference to me, I ain’t spending $16 for fries and 3 tenders. I eat at the riot tailgate before every game, and by the $7 refill soda. Wish we’d pull a falcons and have cheap concessions.

Realistically I wouldn’t expect the food to change until he gets his new stadium. He’ll probably do like many new stadiums around the country and make eateries that have multiple choices at ridiculous prices. From “Wine & Cheese” to Everyman food.

Main reason is the $$$ that would be made having more choices!

    • Then why are they paying QBs so much compared to other players? QB are making so much it's harder and harder to pay other players. If a guy plays like 1 of 11 then there pay should be in line with that. Not all QB should be breaking the bank just because your next or a former 1st rounder There is a reason they say try to win it all on a QB rookie deal because after that they can cripple a team on what it can do. I would rather not do that for a bottom 1/3 QB. Cam and Jake have been the only QBs worth investing long term into this team has had I would rather not lower the bar. If a guy don't got the IT factor and it shows I would rather not invest long term into them and keep looking
    • Aho…come out and prove me wrong boy.
    • I mean, I hear what y'all are saying, but Derrick could have been positive without being negative.  He essentially accused people of not seeing Bryce's improvement because of their desire to not be wrong. He could've kept it about Bryce and the team. For example, he could've said: "Bryce has made strides, and we believe in him. This coming season, his continued improvement will turn a lot of people into believers."  That would've been supportive of his teammate and sent a message to the doubters. That being said, his tact almost summoned and left the door ajar for more skepticism. That's my take anyway. Bryce has improved from the bottom to perhaps skirting the line between the bottom third and mid-third at best...after three seasons. We've all seen it. Yay! In my mind, Bryce has still got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but my expectations are top five--at least top 10--always! Yes, I am a fan, so there's that, but I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect excellence. Hopefully the Panthers FO has the same mindset (and that doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with what we gave up to acquire him). That is the lens I'm looking through. Derrick Brown has his homer glasses on. He just needs to be more diplomatic and thoughtful with his words in my opinion, but I get it that he's a good teammate.
