Well, if you listen to Albert Breer, he kinda already did.

The league apparently did everything short of chanting a voodoo incantation to try to get him to up his bid (and heck, they may have tried that too).  Tepper wouldn't budge, and pissed off a fair number of people in the process.

Good.  We need someone who isn't okay with being the NFL's whipping boy and isn't afraid to say so...  from everything I've read, it sounds like that is what we're getting.

Everyday, everyone wakes up with a choice.

Most decide to be assholes. Money has NOTHING to do with it.

I agree but money has something to do with everything.  Dont fool yourself.

JR built his business one hamburger and grand slam at a time.  Tepper makes or loses hundreds of millions on a financial bet.  It’s two totally different mindsets in building and operating business models.  While Tepper says he’ll take the long view,  people in his industry have a thirst for “calculated “risk and always think they are the smartest one in the room.  If he doesn’t have someone with football knowledge he trusts that can tell him no, he could eventually become a meddling owner.

Most rich people are assholes. When you have enough money there's no need to be a good person. Just hope we win some superbowls.

I think it's more than just about having money.  I believe that most people that operate at such high altitudes like Tepper does simply don't have the time and patience to play games or deal with incompetence.  They want things done, and push others as hard as they push themselves.
