Adrian Peterson talks about the Panthers as a landing spot

Honestly wouldn't hurt to add him for vet min. if he's okay with not getting 15+ carries per game. He still had some juice left in the tank last year with the Cards as their feature back. Would make our HB depth amazing. Just not sure he'd be okay being the 3rd guy...

Listening to the whole interview, honestly it sounds to me like he just wants to be on a roster.

Who knows what happens if he gets here, though?

Only way I can see it working out is putting CJ at FB (which I would really like). That way we have CJ and CMC on the field at the same time with AP backing up. But I dont think he has anything left.

I can't agree with CJ at FB. The guy is an RB, not a blocker, and we just survived the Tolbertback experiment. A FB needs to block in this offense.

CJ is one of the best blockers in the backfield though. He was top 2.

He did an interview days ago and we were like the seventh team mentioned.  No hate for sharing but I'd say pass.  Would rather have Gates to give us the extra push for the super bowl while giving Thomas an extra year to learn from/over take Gates.  Olsen Gates with a budding Thomas would be the best TE group in the league.  I'm good with Anderson and McCaffrey + CAP or Hood or Barber depending on who we keep.

CJ was a 1000 rusher and among the best at blocking from the RB position.  He is our best rushing option along side CMC.  He won't be relegated to FB.  He will carry the ball a lot as well as 35-45 receptions.  We will be glad to have him.

What do you mean by relegated to FB? You say that like it's a bad thing. FBs can do what RBs can do, they're just better at blocking.
