Worst draft in franchise history is now past us

Graham is actually a pretty slick pick in my view.  He'll be a backend roster guy rather than G-League if the whole Borrego-speech holds any water.

Bridges is going to be similar to a Draymond Green in my view.

It's actually not that bad of a draft but we're just setting ourselves up for mediocrity yet AGAIN!

I like Bridges, I think he'll be a good NBA player. I think his offensive game is very limited, and the way he plays makes me fear he'll be injured more often then not (ie MKG). Porter should've been the pick because he has the almost limitless ceiling, which is exactly the kind of player you pray drops to you at the back end of the lottery.

This team will suck again, and probably look back at what a mediocre draft this was again. I haven't been to a game in 2 years (used to go regularly) and I no longer waste money to watch them on tv. They are the most poorly run organization in sports behind Cleveland. Right along with Sacramento (who at least tries to build competitive teams) and the Miami Marlins.

This is dumb and how you stay a bad franchise.. Porter has done literally nothing since HS accept be mediocre player who got injury and now has had "back surgery".. Once they put the knife to your back no matter how young you are never the same.. Are some of you ppl attached to analysts nuts so much you can't see the clear signs of a bust in your face??

That is the dumbest gamble ever.. Yeah let's take a risk on a player because he was all world in HS but did nothing against better competition in college and has a scary injury history.. Yeah that's a good idea..

I don't follow college basketball much anymore but from everything I have seen and read about Bridges he reminds me alot of Gerald Wallace.  Maybe a little bit better shooter.  That's not bad.  If he is your best player though, you are a 30 win team.  But if he is one of 2 or 3 good players on the team you can make the playoffs.  Maybe Bridges won't be that next year but if it takes 2 or 3 years for him to get there that is at least a piece to work with.

I just don't see Bridges as a SF, now if he is going to play an undersized PF role fine but that's a tough ask.

People act like Draymonds grow on trees, he's one of the most unique players in NBA history

    • Another layer to that is Ive seen Seattle has been in the market for CB help this off-season.   Michael had a higher PFF grade than Horn who got 15 games this season. He wants to be here too, that's a huge bonus for any 5 win team that had awful pass rush.  The 7th rounder Michael Barrett didn't last long on Seattle, he was cut before the season I think and ended up on browns PS. He's already been on 5.......5 teams within one year.......
    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
    • THANKS my guy! Keeping up with this threads theme, if I view a thread and there's only 20 posts and some time passes. If I see there's one new post and read the name; @Dave Gettleman's Shortsis among the chosen few that I will reopen that thread just to see what you posted.    Thanks again, plus not just a scout, thats scotty mccloughans son?!?!? If not for the deep claws of booze, scotty is among the best talent finders this league has recently had. Last I heard he ran a consulting business. Caden could be one of those who's on a early path to being a GM in the future. I was a big fan of his dad, dam shame about booze demon ruining his career.
