Keyshawn says there's something "mentally wrong" with Jameis Winston

Okay both are gross as hell but one is a dumbass kid (and I do think his punishment should be harsher, but I'm glad to hear he's on his last chance) and the other was a grown ass man   creating and sweeping under the rug a disgusting work enviorment.

I have no idea why the comparison is being entertained here.

I'm not entirely sure Brinson is comparing them.

If I read it properly, I think the point was that in his opinion, they both got off easier than they should have.

Ah my mistake.  I missed the entire bottom part of the top part of the tweet.

Whoops.

Ok here’s what I think. JR is a rich man. As trump said he can grab em by the pussy and they all let him. I don’t trust women. I’ll bet that these women acted like they were ok with it, and later realized that there was money to be made by being a victim.

the difference is that J Winston forcefully assaulted a woman. There is a clean difference between male humor and physical assault.

Mister doesn't sell if he could beat the charges. He quickly stepped away and went to sell mode in hopes to keep it hush hush. Well that didn't happen and we now know what j rich did.

I still can't believe they tried that "internal investigation" thing. I guess he really believed the league would just let him "investigate" himself and find no wrongdoing.

I still do believe he's bitter that the league declined to cover for him.

And I'd add that I'm pretty sure, despite protests that he did nothing wrong, deep down he knows the truth. It is hard to believe he'd have agreed to sell the team if he genuinely believed he was innocent.

Few people are ever as angry as those people who have gotten away with something for a long time when they find out they can't anymore.

You can't believe they tried what every single organization does in the situation? You can't believe they did what organizations are criticized for not doing? Do  you follow sports this closely and not notice anything about how this plays out?

It's all a show. It's all cover your ass. Unless it's an actual charge the entire thing is NFL PR.

People in the organization say the NFL never contacted them according to Gantt. It was a PR show ending in a  big payment to some charities.

The whole #me2 movement is nothing more than a farce- a money grab. Meanwhile the pedophiles and real criminals are protected by the administrations at the top regardless what color flag they fly because the whole government is corrupt from the top down.

Poo me all you want, but I have a hard time believing that J Rich is really a sick person- he is a typical white guy with money which makes him a taget. Sure he could have used better judgment but some of you guys are acting like he’s some sort of sicko- when the reality is probably somewhere in the middle- the behavior he exhibited was accepted or encouraged by enough people long enough that the few that saw it as a money opportunity were paid off- it’s what they wanted and it helped him save face. Let’s not act all high and mighty because all of us guys are guilty to some degree of treating women like objects, whether only briefly in passing thought, or habitually in words.

The racial angle, I have no clue how racist he really is, but you can’t convince me that he hasn’t done anything to help advance many blacks. Shoot go into any bojangles and see how many blacks vs whites are employed. Look how many blacks are on the team making top dollar. I’d guess that there are some comments probably taken out of context in this hypersensitive liberal politically correct society, again he should have used better judgment but he’s no jonny cash singing about shipping anyone back....

I say leave his statue- he doesn’t deserve to be wiped from the history of this franchise like that.

I'm pretty sure there are a load of women out there who haven't made a single penny off of #metoo. Likely the overwhelming majority of them, honestly. Nobody's getting paid for opening up about being a victim.

And again, Richardson was investigated by a professional who found that not only was he guilty of harassing the people he paid off, but that he did even more that wasn't known.

As to the statue, it's not a history lesson. It's a tribute. He's not being "erased from history" but the things that he's done totally disqualify him from being worthy of any kind of tribute or honor.
