Alvin Kamara talks about the Minnesota Miracle

Yeah, I think this is solo thread worthy.  You might think so too after you read Kamara's...eloquent take on last year's playoff loss.

Alvin Kamara has some choice words about the Minnesota Miracle

Quote

“It’s a certain point where you f–king just do everything could do, and s–t still don’t go your way,” Kamara said. “That’s how I felt about that game. I felt like we did everything. We came all the way back, and then s–t just happened like that. That’s like some one-in-a-million-type s–t.

“I couldn’t even be mad. I was mad, of course, but it was like how does that even f–king happen? That’s not even real. It’s almost not realistic, like what the f–k?”

His greater point holds, as the Saints were on an incredible roll before Stefon Diggs‘ last-second game-winning touchdown sent the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game. And Kamara believes that momentum would have continued against the Eagles, and he clearly thinks it will continue into this season now that they’ve put it behind them.

“We’d beat the s–t out of [the Eagles] cause we was rolling,” Kamara said. “If we won [against the Vikings], I knew nobody was gonna stop us cause we came all the way back. . . .

“We know what the standard is. So, yeah, f-k Minnesota.”

So...yeah.

Haha they still have Marcus Williams as the starting safety so we can beat them

Williams would walk into your safety room and be the best player in there, and it wouldn't be particularly close.

Also, Panthers are 0-3 against the Saints with Williams as a starting safety.

The Eagles were clearly superior to every team in the NFC, Saints included.

I don't believe that.  I believe the Eagles had that special mentality much like the Panthers did in 2003, was just something about them.  But to be honest, on paper the Saints were the better team and I agree they could have beat the Eagles if they played them.  Thankfully that never happen.

We could've beaten them. When we played them earlier in the season we had how many ridiculous turnovers and still were right there? I had every confidence the Panthers could've won the SB last year. But I say that every year soooo
