it's starting to become evident why the coach's were reserved about using him at guard.

Put him at Left Tackle now, move Kalil to the right so Cam can at least see the defender coming.

Never would have played if there wasn't and injury and Rivera's hand was forced.

The fact Rivera is forced to do something is the ray of sunshine.

Yep. And yet when a backup proves he is solid, the Panthers STILL overpay and resign a guy at the moment of opportunity to cut and spend money where it's needed for who the fug knows why. (R Kalil)

It's like the exact opposite of what the Patriots would do.

Always thought he had a shot after drafting him...seemed like a really smart guy, and certainly has the size...I was a little concerned about his feet at T, but he can't be worse than Matt at this point.

I hope this guy absolutely kills it at LT this season then we re-sign Daryl Williams at RT and have our long-term solution at OT wrapped up. Then we could just focus on finding a decent backup swing tackle and we're rolling.

you just dont see many guys with that salary benched. i would love to see it happen though.
