That's some pretty thorough coverage from a guy who supposedly didn't want the statue in the first place.

I didn't really buy into the notion that making this change would actually piss Jerry Richardson off, but after reading that story from Gantt I might just believe it.

It could be worse by having the midfield logo JR's face and not Panther logo. Good thing that wasn't part of the team purchase contract.

It wouldn't make any difference even if JR was pissed of because he no longer owns the team and has no say in any changes that are to be made or already changed.

Fug that statue.  Tepper should scrap that POS and tell Jerry "sue me".  Then tie it up in court for a few years.

Hate to say it, but we don't really know whether Marty Hurney and/or Ron Rivera would favor its removal either.

it's not like someone created a big billboard campaign at one point to have the logo put on the field somewhere....
