Same knee, new injury. I guess maybe it's not the ACL if surgery was a decision and not a given but he already tore his MCL and dislocated his knee cap. There's not much left there to injure.

Gonna have to do another trade or pick up someone on a flier. As for TE an TD for that matter we shoulda moved on when Gettleman was trying to move on from them and we'd be at least healthy and not wasting money there. Need to pick up a TE too.

Can't expect much out of this OL as it was a big ? regardless and since we're down to 2nd and 3rd stringers it's even worse on paper than last year....

Rt is more concerning than TE IMO, Thomas is solid none we have is serviceable at RT.

Injury updates on tight end Greg Olsen and offensive tackle Daryl Williams from head athletic trainer Ryan Vermillion:

“Greg re-fractured his right foot against Dallas. There are no plans for surgery at this time. We will monitor his rehab and evaluate his progress on a monthly basis.”

“Daryl injured his right knee when a Cowboys player fell into the side of his knee. After evaluation, it is team physician Dr. Pat Connor’s recommendation that Daryl undergoes surgery to repair the injury.”

Let's pretend for a moment that Olsen comes back and we are still well in playoff contention. Forcing Ian Thomas to get that experience and then teaming him with a rested Olsen is not a terrible outcome

Uh, we better not let Greg keep a roster spot so he can come back for one series in Week 16 and break his foot again. IR or retirement.

Monthly? I’d say the prognosis for a return this season is grim at best.
