Panthers don't know how to run the end of game offense

Its not that, its that Funchess completely fuged us this game. Dropped several clutch catches hes expected to make with his eyes closed. I’d put some more blame on CJ but at least got us our first fg.

That Wright drop on the first drive hurt us. Hit him right in the hands.

Play calls were fine, but there was no sense of urgency, and why did they not spike the ball to stop the clock in obvious four down situations?

Clear the plan from the start was get in range for one pass to the end zone, instead of getting there quickly and having four shots at it.

Just an execution/philosophy problem. Stupid, stupid mistakes.

We lost approximately 10 seconds between the 2nd down and the 3rd down conversion on the sidelines to Funchess. We had the same issues last week at the end of the 1st half if you recall.

Yeah Cam need to spike the ball in those 2min drills. I'm sure he should have the power to do that.

Also use the sidelines man. Stop getting penalties and sacks in the 2min drive.

Overall the offense moves very slow and when they do get in the rhythm, someone drop a crucial pass, or gets a penalty. Very frustrating.

We have the slowest offense I have ever witnessed.  It's a culture with our offense.  When it comes time to move their a$$es they just can't grasp the concept.

It drives me nuts.  The opposing D Line can basically pin their ears back knowing EXACTLY when we're going to snap the ball.  So effing predictable.

I saw Aaron Rodgers get 20 yards in 7 seconds yesterday.  It took us 25 seconds to get one play off for 13 yards.  HeyZeus Christ!!!!

While I understand and also am frustrated by it. I think in  weird way they do that by design. I mean at the end of the day we had a shot to tie the game when we had no business being there. Moore nearly had the catch.

More often than not when we are getting our ass kicked. Cam and the offense seem to do a good job in giving us a chance again at the end of the game. Sometimes you seal the deal sometimes you don't.

Two-minute offense and other situational stuff is what the head coach gets paid for.  He's not out there at practice making sure 10-year-olds line up right and have their mouthpiece in.  These are professionals, and the basics of the offense are wired by now.  Practice should center on game plan installment and situational football.  RR has always failed to have the Panthers prepared for the end of halves/games.  I place the blame solely on him, although the players show a stunning lack of urgency most times.

I love Cam as much as anyone on this board, but when we are in situations of urgency, I never see him truly running up to the line of scrimmage and hustling everyone to do the same.  Precious seconds are lost repeatedly and I think it’s a coach/QB disconnect.  I watch football at all levels and I know a sense of urgency when I see it and it’s typically led by the QB and how he hurries the tempo.  If Ron is actually telling Cam not to rush and not to preserve time, then he has no business coaching an NFL team.
