Torrey Smith wants Eric Reid on the Panthers

I really, really want a Pro Bowl safety.

I love the focus and all for one feel on this team right now from the towel boy to the owner.

My only concern is the media circus that will follow Reid if he comes here. The entire organization will be under the microscope, and our recent past is finally in the rear view. The media vultures will try and blow any tiny thing well out of proportion, no matter how insignificant. 

That being said the first problem might be what the current DB core thinks of Torrey's public comments to the press.

This is why I think the players with big mouths need to STFU. Torrey Smith was brought in to be a receiver,  not a personnel decision maker. 

 

He should worry about catching balls. It’s why I admire the players who don’t talk big and try to make statements. It’s all a distraction and shows that they don’t respect the organization as a whole. Doesn’t he realize that if the coaches want eric Reid they would have already made the move? Does he think they forgot he existed?

A good chunk of this fan base wants Torrey Smith gone and Reid in.

Meanwhile, Smith continues to start and drop passes.  And Collin Jones starts, gets torched while Ron talks how well they played

Once again what is Ron going to say in the event we don't replace Jones. He sucks and we need to replace him? Stop acting as if Ron is talking about his real feelings to the media. This is fluff and blowing smoke.

I have no.problem with Smith or what he said. Honestly I think we should sign Reid as well. He said he won't kneel. Makes this whole controversy moot. And if we sign him the whole collusion lawsuit disappears.

i hope we sign reid and he shores up the secondary and he leads the league in interceptions and we go to the superbowl and he has the greatest game ever and has the game winning interception and when goodell hands him the mvp trophy he rolls out a prayer mat, drops to his knees and screams ALLAHU ACKBAR

If he continues to suffer from them, then yeah, it could happen to Luke too.

Nobody wants that, but it's one possibility.
