Official Luke Kuechly sucks thread

I love me some Luke. That's my guy. At this point I don't know if anything is going on with him, I just want the man to be able to live a full life. Whatever happens, I support him. I certainly would never question his heart, his desire, or his work ethic after a loss like some Panthers fans have done to Cam Newton over the years.

So it has come down to trade Cam, cut Luke, Poe needs to go, as well as the coaching staff.

If you don't mind, maybe we can put off the rebuild for the time being.

The grass is not always greener over there. Even if you just so much want it to be.

If only Luke touched the ball every offensive play

Luke has had plenty of opportunities this season to make a game shifting play and has fallen short of doing so.

There is no disputing the fact that we have been gashed on defense by every team we’ve faced, other than the Cowboys (who basically used us as a 5th preseason game).

Why don't you go pull for another team you dumbass. How about all the whinny assholes in this forum go jump on another bandwagon. The mods need to put a stop to all these dumbass threads getting started. The huddle has become trash because of people like you!

Did anyone see his face halfway through the game? Like he was grimacing or something.  I do think he's dinged up.  If Luke isn't the best MLB in the league I think it's because something is wrong with him physically that is beyond his control.

It’s weird Poe played well in ATL and KC, you think it’s bc we lack an elite pass rusher like KC (Tamba Hali) and ATL (Vic Beasley)?

I've heard a few people from Atlanta say that he wasn't really all that good there.

True? Don't know. it's just one of those things I'm keeping in the back of my mind.

I haven't really seen him lose a block. Teams are just attacking us on the outside and our DEs are underperforming imo.

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
