Anyone Else Feel Like We Waste Too Much Time Supporting This Team?

We spend all week posting on this forum. We watch every second of every Panthers game. We read every tweet about the team. We spend money on tickets and jerseys.

And what are we getting out of it? It's not even entertaining watching this team.

Deep down we all know this team is not winning a super bowl. Every week the team comes out looking unprepared. Every week someone on the team lets us down. Even when the Panthers win, they make silly mistakes that should have been corrected in the preseason.

Am I alone in feeling this way? Is it time to take a break from wasting so much time on this team?

I think the only positive coming from this season is new ownership. Tepper seems like a stand up dude who wants to win. That's all I can think of.

I can only hope that, unlike his current Head Coach, Tepper understands that it is no longer the 1970's and 80's in the NFL and that the rules now are VASTLY different than the rules then.

Tepper seems to me like a man who will not settle for mediocrity.  He also seems to me to be a man not averse to a certain level of risk.  I don't think you become a billionaire (unless maybe your last name is Kennedy or Rockefeller) unless you are prepared to weigh the odds and take risks.

Lawd, let it please be so.  Give Ron his Golden Watch and kick his happy scaredy-cat ass out the front Panthers door.

I can see we are wasting the golden years of Luke and Cam away. This status quo crap has got to change. Tired of the same crap dealing with the coaching staff. This is a pass heavy/score points offensive league. We need to get on the train and stop waiting at the station.

Been a Panther fan for lord knows how long and despite my very critical comments on everything Rivera, they've been through far worse in the past.

We have talent. It's frustrating that we sometimes don't know how to use it.

But I'm still watching every game I can and supporting them through the poo and the good.

I take Jake Delhomme over this clown we got now atleast Jake was clutch in the 4th quarter and did'n choke like Cam did today also Jake had heart and was a true leader.

STFU

Jake Delhomme was good for like 3 years. After that he got lazy throwing to Steve and got figured out.

Cam is not the reason we lost today. He made some mistakes but he didn’t fumble twice and didn’t call cowardly plays in the booth.

You’re ignorant as fug. Cam was literally the only chance we had to come back in this game. If you don’t realize how much he is held back and wins by putting the team on his back every single week then you can kick fuging rocks. Cam makes mistakes but there isn’t another QB I’d take over him.

    • Good, our ST is almost as bad as our ILB depth!
    • With two starters on expiring contracts (Moton + Corbett) as well as a few back-ups (Christensen, Mays, and Nijman), the Panthers are likely going to have to reinvest in the OL after this coming season. Icky's fifth-year option was picked up by the team this offseason while Lewis and Hunt both remain under contract then (though Lewis' deal is set-up in a way that would let Carolina move on from him then as well). I think that the team is going to be looking at investing a premium pick at RT should Bryce's development continue, and might even look to double dip at the position in order to have a swing tackle that can also kick inside when needed. There's also the question of starting center... Prospects I'm watching this upcoming college season... Centers Jake Slaughter (Florida) Iapani Laloulu (Oregon) Connor Lew (Auburn) Logan Jones (Iowa) Parker Brailsford (Alabama) Connor Tollison (Missouri) Bryce Foster (Kentucky) Pat Coogan Notre Dame) Raheem Anderson (Michigan) Carson Hinzman (Ohio State) RTs Francis Mauigoa (Miami) Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) Spencer Fano (Utah) Gennings Dunker (Iowa) Blake Miller (Clemson) Isaiah World (Oregon) Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern) Monroe Feeling (Georgia) Earnest Greene III (Georgia) Monroe Mills (Louisville) Charles Jagusah (Notre Dame) Tree Babalade (South Carolina) Trey Zuhn III (Texas A&M) Nolan Rucci (Penn State) Tristan Leigh (Clemson) Fernando Carmona (Arkansas) JC Davis (Illinois) Riley Mahlman (Wisconsin) PJ Williams (SMU) Tosh Baker (Notre Dame) Aki Ogunbiyi (Texas A&M) Courtland Ford (Kentucky) Ethan Onianwa (Rice)
    • I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things
