4th year we've done it.  3 players will have the initials of fallen heroes on their helmets.

They will also meet the families of the fallen.

Wish they had mentioned who the third soldier was. Glad the team is doing this and maybe give those families just a moment of warmth and appreciation for what they have lost as we honor the sacrifices.

I know you're being facetious, but I agree.  Especially considering that the military pays the NFL a ton of money to use it as an advertising tool for vulnerable young people.  I truly do just want to watch football.  Hell, I stopped watching sportcenter because every other story is about 5 year old billy with some incurable disease which is horribly depressing and I just wanna see highlights and see who won the games.

Glad the sun will be shinning tomorrow and I can wear my sunglasses because I always cry when the families are lined up being honored for their sacrifice.  I appreciate the support the Panthers give to our military members and families.

Please don't hijack this thread.  Let's just honor those who have died in service for their country.
