Bump this thread until Kliff Kingsbury is the next head coach.

This dude wouldn't give Baker Mayfield a scholarship after his freshman year and sat Pat Mahomes in favor of Davis Webb. He also has a horrible record. If you can't improve one side of the ball ( defense in his case), and you can't see the own talent on your roster... We would have Rivera all over again but younger. He should be nothing more than an offensive coordinator.

Not an Auburn fan, but what are you talking about there? They beat Alabama to win their division and were in the SEC championship game last year.

You're ignoring the fact that he went 8-5 his first season and them spiraled downward. You must have missed the Mike Leach years at Texas Tech. They competed year in an year out. Leach had 10 straight winning seasons at TT.  I'm not saying your going to win a national championship there, but you can definitely win. Kingsbury couldn't though and that's why he got fired.

And this. It was like Fedora playing Marquise Williams at UNC over Mitch Trubisky. Both coaches went with the comfortable choice. They had proven good college QBs but couldn't see that they were playing @ known commodity over potential greatness because they weren't willing to take a chance. Sounds a lot like Rivera, huh?

Right. I haven't seen people suggesting making minor changes and seeing if we can right the ship the next two years or so....people are asking for major changes. If we want major changes you don't bring in a guy with the same issues as the current head coach.

Interesting how OP is practically fapping over some frat bro coach with a losing record, and telling us how that doesn't matter and we should hire him anyway. But if the Panthers lose one game he's questioning our QB's dedication to his craft.

Oh but he's got a nice haircut.

Yeh here it goes again,... everyone wants a new coach,.. but all anyone will do is bash each other’s coaching choices then all dog pile the new coach as the dumbest hire ever unless we go 19-0 from each season here on out.
