I honesty dont even bother opening threads with those kinds of titles and don't think they should be here. I'm sick of people trashing the guy in which the coach has forced him to carry the team so much that it has now broken him and now the so called "fans" are  treating him like poo for not being able to carry us anymore through Rivera's bullshit. It's like punching your horse for breaking a leg after carrying you across the country.

there are a ton of people out there who've hated him since day one and just can't help themselves.  it's also very enjoyable when they couch their trash threads and posts in appeals to free speech/free thought as if the only reason people are telling them to shut up and fug off is because their tiny brains just can't handle their revolutionary cam takes.

Thread isn't even necessary, just get to work taking out the trash.

I wouldn't have made it, but i did because I've already banned several "new" posters for this very reason.  There has been a significant increase in troll signups with nothing but Cam-related content and reactions once they're here...  So, i figured they should have a heads up if they feel like wasting their time.

You know some people just found this place looking for a more active place than catscratch reader.

I don't know if I am going to get lumped in with those people but let's be honest.

I've been inferred as racist for an accurate opinion that he's an above average but not elite QB.

People should be allowed to give honest opinions especially when so many here are delusional beyond belief.

This place should embrace good honest discussion

That's often the missing ingredient.

I don’t get this I been a fan since 95 and Now your saying you can’t post negative comments about cam who is clearly one of the problems for this team. His mechanics are not getting any better, people should be able to voice their opinion this is a fan forum right.

I think you're missing the point. Not that cam and his shoulder weren't problematic, but new posters coming with a trolling agenda ONLY about that

Appreciate you stepping up and getting rid of some of the senseless trolls and hate. I am usually pretty good about avoiding topics that seem like they are here just to bait but its still annoying opening the forums after every loss reading about Cam sucks, Luke is done ( who balled the hell out the past two weeks by the way ) and everyone is garbage. Cam didn't play bad this past game and the Browns have a good defense.

we're also on year 7 of this and it gets old.  yeah, we know, inaccurate, immature, not a leader, did you see his hat, he needs to be watching film or studying his playbook blah blah blah.  we've heard it all before and it's well past being a sore topic.

i mean i can't blame someone who hasn't been here long and doesn't know but we've had multiple instances where guys have registered literally dozens of accounts apiece for the sole purpose of talking poo about cam newton.  just saying even if you're (e: not you specifically, i mean in the general sense) being 100% sincere with your cam critiques you still sound an awful lot like them.

    • A winning record would be nice, but I still have us winning around the 6 to 8 game mark. Realistically we should beat the Jets and Saints, that gets us to 5 wins. After that, we have to face a lot of potential play off teams and our divisional opponents. I think we’ll win 1 or 2 of those games to take us to 6 or 7 wins, perhaps 8 wins if we can spring a further surprise.  Is that enough progress for head coach and QB? I’m not sure, it will depend on performances and output. That said, it’s nice to be back in a position where we are thinking about the play offs.
    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
