Like it or not Rivera and Hurney start the interview process Sunday.

For the Panthers and the rest of the league they can't lean on a hurt QB or other excuses. Win the next two and they either keep their jobs or find another one. We still have a very good team that should win. ATL is done and playing for picks and the Saints have home field and the division. Not much stopping us from winning except ourselves.

Hurney's interview process started the day that Tepper walked through BOA. He's out regardless.

Tepper isn't going to just let Hurndawg stick around when he's already busy rebuilding the entire front office makeup of this franchise.

Ron, meh... We'll see how that one pans out.

We’re gonna suck a bag of dicks the next two Sundays, but hopefully we at least get Rivera out and transitioning into his role with the Cardinals. Hurney did a better job the second time around. But not enough IMO. While I’ll absolutely lose respect for TD and others if they leave to chase checks, I wouldn’t want a 5-year extension either.

Y'all, help me out in developing the big, full picture for terminating the HC:

  • A coach who has a franchise QB, star RB, solid Center, all-pro TE and RG on offense and 3 first rounder DTs, a hall of fame DE, a hall of fame MLB (3 first rounder LBs) , 2 solid CBs, a first rounder S--and he struggles to maintain s .500 winning percentage.
  • A game manager with questionable clock management skills, terrible challenge strategies, and an unreasonable adherence to playing veterans whenever possible.
  • A "player's coach" who throws players under the bus, along with assistant coaches, when we lose.

what am i missing?

Pretty harsh figurative language--but I as for RR getting fired, I am boiling hot.  As for Marty getting fired, I am luke warm.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
