Tepper has "no idea" whether Cam Newton needs surgery

I just hope if Cam comes to camp and can't make all the throws that someone has the balls to man up and make him sit.  If six or seven months of offseason work don't do the trick then we will have our answer and will need to sit him all season instead of trotting him out there as a shadow of himself, just to save Rons job.

Watch us already plan to have him sit out but they don't want PSL's backing out come time. Watch that in like June they announce Cam will sit out and they've tried everything.

Don't know he would be cut. We could try to restructure in order to save cap room this year if we thought he could be the answer in the future. Seems that cuts are coming given Tepper discussed needing cap room. And it is possible that Cam could be cut but it seems unlikely at this oount.

issues like this require a problem diagnosis and a tactical to strategic approach 

eirher newton can throw or he can’t.   If you don’t know , then it’s high risk   Address it 

There is a probability involved and the entire billion dollar business and 51 other players can’t wait on that 

they absolutely knew he could not throw long after that surgery and did nothing

if they thought Taylor or the others were the answer, why do they have jobs?

If we had a higher draft pick I would think some of this might be a draft strategy but nobody cares what we are gonna do at 16.

The season has been over for awhile now, I’m sure Cam has had MRI’s on his shoulder. The doctors have already told Cam and the Panthers what shape he’s in and if further surgery is necessary.

Im gonna be freaking pissed if these knuckleheads wait until March to have surgery done if he needs it.

Why would tepper come out and say, Cam needs surgery and we have to rest him in 2019 ?  How would it benefit the team's plans going forward if they told the rest of the NFL we have got to get another qb for the upcoming season ?  that is the only explanation for Tepper playing dumb imo.  Same poo Rivera has been doing for a while now.

Who do you think decides when and what to do with Cam's shoulder?  Number 1 is Cam followed by doctors and training staff. Rivera, Hurney and Tepper won't be deciding what to do with Cam simply making their contingency plans if he isn't going to be ready to play.

Maybe in the past but not now. We have more weapons and will get more this year so the quarterback doesn't have to carry the team anymore.

Right— but hypothetically if we were still taking about Foles for example and wanted that to happen,.. and Cam was done, being cut would clear space and make it more attractive to sign him. The other thing is Foles wants to start so leaving Phily with $18 million, a new contract, starting etc would probably outweigh a lot of his other options.

the jaguars make a lot more sense for him money and need wise, pretty clear there.
